Style Diary # 11
Hey loves, hope everyone is having a great start to their week so far. I never thought in a million years that I would ever enter the world of social media, especially become a blogger. I was always so intrigued by it and would follow other bloggers and influencers, but I was always extremely nervous to put myself out there. But as I became more comfortable with the idea, the more I wanted to enter this world. Especially, after I finished my Masters degree last fall, I felt like I wanted to accomplish something else that I was always fascinated by, apart from my love of Early Childhood Education. I have always loved fashion, but mostly the overall art of style. The way that one expresses themselves through their own personal style is such a reflection of who you are, what you want to be, and where you are going. Style evolves with you, and I think as a blogger it is a great way to look back and think of all the memories that you make along the way. Now, I haven’t been blogging long (almost a year) but I can still reflect on the style choices that I wore in the beginning, and think about how certain pieces of clothing made me feel or what I was going through at those moments. That is what I love about style, because it something so unique that lives within you.
Being able to look back, at all the style choices that you make as fashion lifestyle blogger is what I genuinely love about blogging. I can’t wait to look back at this particular outfit, because it truly has been one of my all time favorites. I love this outfit because I literally took some simple clothing items such as a plain white V-neck tee and some cut off shorts that I have had forever, and made it super chic with this blue long sleeve trench coat. Now, before you judge me and think why is she wearing a trench coat in hot and humid Miami…(No judging please)… it actually is perfect because it is super lightweight and breathable. I love the detail of the buttons, sleeves and how it has this flowy fit. I paired it with some black and white strappy heels (that I also have had for a long time) a vintage blue lace choker and that completed my overall look. Also, the versatility of this trench coat is impeccable because you can pair just about anything with it. That is the beauty about style, how you can take any piece of clothing from your closet and express yourself without even saying a word. When I look back at this post maybe a few months from now or a year from now, I want to be able to reflect on how I felt the day I took this pictures. On how clothes aren’t necessarily going to change the world, but they can help you change something in you to help change the world. Thank you for stopping by and hopefully you will continue this journey with me, as my style continues to evolve over time. Besos.
I want to thank SheIn for sponsoring this post.
