Simple Sundays

Hello everyone and welcome to I’m Simply Cecille. I am so excited to share my fashion lifestyle journey with all of you that will join me. As a new blogger, I want to showcase my personal style and how it evolves over time. Style is an overall expression of oneself and I just love the fact that you can take any piece of clothing or accessory and create a unique look that reflects your inner muse. Your overall style tells a story about who you are and where you are going and that is why this blog will serve as my own personal style diary and my love for beautiful simple things. Enjoy.

Style Diary #1

I love Sundays and even though it is a reminder that it is back to reality the following day, something about Sundays warms my heart. That is why I love to keep things super simple on a Sunday, beginning with my outfit for the day. I love to combine pieces that are casual but can easily be transformed into a look that is more put together if your daily plans happen to change.  For my simple Sunday look I decided to wear this blue plaid buttoned-down top that is extremely lightweight especially with the beautiful open back detail that it has. I paired it with some fitted light denim distressed boyfriend jeans that I love because they are extremely flattering and really stretchy. I wore some denim slip on sneakers (so comfortable) since I was just running some errands on this day, hence, the beautiful hydrangeas that I picked up from Trader Joes. Finally, I added a neutral toned beaded bib necklace to complete my simple Sunday look. I love the fact that this overall outfit is simple but it is versatile at the same time.  By adding some cute wedges or a statement clutch it can quickly make this a casual chic look perfect for an afternoon brunch date.  I would love to hear what you love to wear on a Sunday. I hope you enjoyed my first post.

Love always,

Simply Cecille
