Style Diary # 15
Hola mis amores. Hello loves. I am so excited because this is my first post of 2017 and this year is definitely going to be one for the books, I can already feel how amazing of a year it is going to be. I know that once the year starts, we tend to begin my writing down a million goals as well as many New Years resolutions (and that is great and all) but to be honest with you I have tried that before and it seems to never really stick with me for too long. So this year, I decided that instead of coming up with 6 billion resolutions that I would love to accomplish (but probably won’t stick to 100%) I prefer to just embrace everything that comes my way. Life is such a beautiful journey and I feel like sometimes we get so caught up on “how” are we going to accomplish this or that instead of just enjoying and embracing the overall process. I’m a firm believer that if you put your mind to something, you will be able to achieve it but you must appreciate all the quirks, kinks, and bumps that might come along.
The beauty of embracing everything is that you really are in tune with the beauty of what life offers you every single day. Everyday might not be exactly how you plan it, but that’s okay, embrace it and learn from what did or didn’t work and try again tomorrow. Everyday is a new beginning or opportunity to self improve in anything that you want to accomplish. Once you begin to embrace your journey, trust me, that life will open up to you in miraculous ways. Remember to embrace yourself, change, opportunities, struggles, uncertainty, life, fears, flaws, mistakes, your journey, and just remember to overall embrace everything.
Now, moving on to a bit of fashion….one thing I know for a fact is that as women we all love and embrace the beauty of fashion and overall style. Right, ladies? What I appreciate the most is how everyone’s style is so unique and personal to them and their life. Take this beautiful multicolor plaid pencil dress from She-In, I am so obsessed with the pattern, style, fit, the sleeves, the PRICE…I mean I’m pretty much just OBSESSED with it completely. I knew that this dress was one of those pieces that you can certainly dress up or dress down, so since I had never really “dressed down” a dress before I decided to just go with it and embrace the process. Now, dressing down a dress is as easy as 1,2,3 just add some cute sneakers and VOILA, your done. I added a statement necklace to give it a pop of chicness, a brown fringe bag, and I was ready to go. See that is the beauty of style, any way that you showcase it you can certainly embrace it. See you all next week. Besos.
I want to thank She-in for sponsoring this post.
She-in sent the multicolor plaid dress reviewed in this blog post, it is a sponsored post but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
